Our mission encompasses various areas, including education, health and organizing community events.

She is a recipient of the 2024 Springfield Community Impact Award for her selfless dedication to community impact initiatives and programmes, Naefia is a catalyst for social cohesion and positive change.
Naefia Padi, Founder and President of the Unity Hearts Foundation, exemplifies resilience and compassion. Born in Tema, Ghana, and now residing in Springfield, MA, her journey has been one of transformation and empowerment. As a dedicated Special Education professional at Springfield Renaissance School, Naefia uplifts young minds, fostering belief in their potential regardless of their circumstances. Through community events, education initiatives, and outreach programs, she promotes unity and shared values, inspiring hope and creating opportunities for all.


A FORCE OF POSITIVE CHANGE
Emmanuel Owusu, Vice President of the Unity Hearts Foundation, is a retired Army veteran and a Service Coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services. With a steadfast commitment to community development, he has led impactful initiatives, including Springfield's First African Community Flag Raising, fostering unity and pride. His visionary leadership and dedication to creating inclusive opportunities have profoundly improved lives. As a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Community Impact Award, Emmanuel exemplifies service, resilience, and a deep passion for empowering communities.
